He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of West Bohemia in Plzeň (Master of Laws – Mgr.) and obtained his Doctor of Laws (JUDr.) degree at the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague. He previously practised with a leading Czech law firm with an international reach. He serves as an arbitrator of the Arbitration Court attached to the Czech Chamber of Commerce and the Agrarian Chamber of the Czech Republic. He is a member of the Czech Bar Association. With more than ten years of legal practice, he specialises primarily in litigation, arbitration, debt recovery, construction law (contracts for work and related defective performance) and contract law. He is fluent in English.
